Born in Tehran, Iran, Mohadese Movahed is a visual artist whose studio practice focuses on painting and drawing. She graduated with a BFA degree from the University of Science and Culture in Tehran and an MFA from the University of Regina, SK, Canada in 2019. Movahed has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and is a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant. Movahed currently lives and works in Vancouver, Canada.
